Maybe that's, you know, the thing I would say in your situation, like you've obviously got curiosity there because you're watching the daily show.

This stuff is interesting to you, but maybe the written form is like not the way for you to consume it.

You don't have to read everything in text, but what I'm suggesting is you find that

a number of different versions of that story to make sure that you're not just consuming one left-wing version of it and one or a right-wing version of it.

Just try and triangulate the information so that if it's something that matters to you, you're at least building out your own picture and can analyze it yourself.

The actual original image was of two very brave female police officers getting crowds out of there to safety.

But the narrative was completely flipped and that went around the world straight away.
