What I would say is that the tech does presents us with opportunities as well.
So when it comes to like spotting original vision and images, tech can be helpful for that.
When it comes to like Taiwan is a really interesting example of this.
They've got a lot of like citizen democracy tools being developed that they're using.
So using AI models to help solve problems where the community is fractured over a particular issue.
So if you think about, you know, the example I gave you before of the Snowys and the Brumbies and everyone fracturing and it being all over social media.
Is there a version of that where there are AI-based tools which take all of that information but then look for common threads?
Like, it would be very difficult to pass through all of the different opinions that exist on wind farms in Australia right now.
But maybe some of these AI tools could be developed or used to pass through huge volumes of data around people's opinions, their physical proximity to those stories, as in like where the wind farms are versus where they live.
You know, some of the research that we had done for this found that the bulk of the people that were commenting on the Brumbies weren't actually living in Jindabyne or the Snow Mountains.
So can you use technology, or you can use technology, but perhaps we can use it better, to say, okay, we've got a problem here.
Here's what the sort of social media discourse is around that.
Can we distill from that the range of views and the volume of views from the communities that are actually adjacent to where those wind farms are going?
Okay, so let's cut out
the noise and here's the, here's what the community actually thinks.
Within that community, uh, can we categorize those people into, you know, very strongly held views for, and very strongly held views against, and then can we come in from there to find where.
Like, I think the technology does have the possibility and probably requires someone to think about what the business model is because they're really only going to do it if it makes money.
