And it's interesting, everybody was just sort of behind on that because you know, you did have that initial outlook from the hurricane center, like you said, with that trough, but the European ensembles at that time had plenty of low pressures, you know, near Louisiana and nobody was talking about them at that time.
I think that's what threw everybody off because
They were out there, but everybody was focused on that hurricane center outlook, which really
Is is at this point not even I would argue what we're looking at.
I would argue that that
system some of that did drift northeast.
This is just something else that formed and started moving west.
Yeah, and and for the record, I want to say if the hurricane centered track is right, then this is really a non-issue for everybody for the most part, except for some people with some coastal flooding.
Uh but in answer to the to the steering question, not necessarily different influences, it's just more of an influence of what we're talking about with that ridge.
So we're you know, you've got this ridge, uh, that that you show up pretty well in your explainer graphic there that keeps moving in from the northwest.
So
You know, there's a lot of I don't want to say a lot, but there's some certainties here.
In this forecast.
I mean, we're all pretty confident that the ridge builds in.
Steers this thing to the west after it sort of meanders around a little bit for the next day or so.
The biggest question mark is how quickly does the ridge build in?
And make that westerly turn.
