Stereotypical over-the-top Indian accent.
I had this dilemma, personal and professional, well, do I keep doing this voice or not?
Because it got traction, this criticism.
It was one of the first waves of what society would call, you know, wokeism or cancel culture, whatever you want to call it.
It was actually predated cancel culture.
Yeah, around then was when Hari started talking about it.
White lens of, this is what Indian people are like.
And so I was sort of one of the test bunnies for this kind of thing, and was very baffled by it.
and upset by it and didn't understand it.
But because at this point I was a sober guy and had gone through a lot of programmatic recovery in my life, I approached it similarly, which is, well, any crisis in my life,
anything that's upsetting to me, I'm going to approach programmatically.
It means I share with people and I try to respond and not react and understand that I'm going to have a lot of feelings, but I probably shouldn't speak and talk.
