As someone who has played the game, I keep mentioning that.

I remember when I lost someone I was very close to, the DR would keep asking me to mention that person's name.

And so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happening to her too.

I am loving Lyric in a post-Rome era after the fall of the Roman Empire.

She's rising from the ashes.

Lyric is someone who, from the beginning, I thought showed a lot of promise.

I felt like she was going to be the complete package of

And alas, she found herself in a showmance.

You guys, I'm sure I've talked about this before.

But the reason why I don't like showmances is because often the two players become distracted and they take their eye off the prize.

And it's no longer interesting for me as a viewer to watch two people who clearly are not 100 percent focused on the game.

And also, I think in the edit, I mentioned this in chat, BCC said,

The young woman who's in the showmance is often reduced to their membership of said showmance, regardless of how much they're strategizing outside of the showmance, regardless of the bonds they're forming.

We saw this with Holly and Mickey jump scare.

I know trigger warning Jackson Mickey, but Holly did so well.

And yet I don't remember really anything that Holly did outside of showmance.

being in a showmance with Mickey.

So that is another reason why I don't like showmances, especially for the young women playing this game.

I'm really excited to watch Lyric.
