Just those rock formations are so cool.
And like the climbs were challenging, but not soul crushing, but also just amazing.
the Black Hills in South Dakota.
Living in Kansas, we just don't get the longer mid-range climbs and really twisty roads so much.
And they were descents that took your focus but weren't
overwhelming you know and I think that you could make a really cool loop out of that section alone doing what we did and then there's this rail trail called the Mickelson that a lot of our rail trails are just like straight flat
Like they kind of get a bad rap.
I have a thing against rail trails.
It's just like, it feels like you're not going anywhere.
But I've heard that this is super different.
You go through like tunnels and there's like big canyon walls.
And so I think that would be really cool.
The Sunday chug is keeping everyone together as much as possible, like functioning as a train unit.
Chugging is going a steady pace, not trying to blow your friends up.

A weekly gravel adventure ride that my partner Jared and I started a little over five years ago.
There's maybe seven people on the first ride.
And now in the summer, we're getting like at least 100 almost every week.
We'll get up to like 120 on a really nice weather day that doesn't have like event conflicts happening.
The format of this ride is really special and it has developed over time that we do our best to keep everybody together.
