And even still, it wasn't for a lack of trying.
I didn't just one day want to be like, good luck to her.
Can't be arsed.
It takes an awful lot to do that.
But when your world and your family
You have to put that, those priorities, those needs, that safety before anything else.
And it's one of the hardest things I ever had to do.
There was, yeah, there was quite a bit of silence and she did try reaching out.
But I don't think, in the times that she did, she just kind of disappointed, she left me disappointed.
she wasn't getting it no and my wedding was was one of them really so we got married in september 2022 it's obviously it's kind of just post-covid um and we had been um like that not talking very little and so i didn't i did like that i didn't
I didn't have her around when I was planning my wedding.
I didn't have a mother to come dress shopping with me.
I didn't have a mother to do, she didn't come to my hen party.
She was invited, she was asked to go to everything and she just, because she had gone so into herself and so isolated, she wouldn't.
So I felt really hurt that she wouldn't put herself out there for me in my times of need or my once in a lifetime, you know, opportunities that.
But then when I was around her, she expected me to, again, be her daughter, be her carer, be all for her when she wasn't giving it back.
And again, it's not a tit for tat.
It's not to give to receive, but.
You know, you want a mother for times in your life, you know, and I don't think she was capable of doing that at the time.
