WikiLeaks helped protect whistleblower, of course, Edward Snowden after he leaked NSA documents to journalists, which showed the extent of the government spying on its own people.
By twenty seventeen, all of Assange's sexual assault allegations had been dropped because the evidence was not strong enough to form the basis for filing an indictment, and the Obama administration concluded that it would not be able to prosecute him without also pursuing the newspapers that had published the leaks.
In March 2019, WikiLeaks published information suggesting the new Ecuadorian president's brother had been using offshore accounts.
That's how they get you every single time.
