And it's playing on the front foot, realizing you've got Italy pinned and making the most of it before halftime.
And as you said, what was it like 45-10 up at halftime?

And it was just Ireland, the Ireland that we've come to see over and when they've had those dominant performances over the last year or two, both in Six Nations and in the World Cup, where it's just putting the foot in the throat, being able to do that with confidence and swagger and coming off the back of a disappointing loss to be able to just flush it so quickly and make those wrongs very right very quickly.
was what we love to see, and I think it's that style of play, because we know that Ireland aren't the massive, you know, that huge, kind of, like the France and the Englands kind of have those massive props that we have punch and hold, so we've got to get that quick ball to allow our dynamic pack to really strike, and I think we saw that on Saturday, just playing to our strengths on the absolute maximum, and then the ability to
to bring on the bench that we had as well.
It shows that strength and depth.
It all added to a very good performance.
Yeah, and as you said, that confidence to come from, I think that shows the kind of the deep-seated culture that's within them.
Because to turn that around and have that level of confidence a week on from a really kind of flat attacking performance...
speaks volumes of what they know they can do and what they're capable of and to be able to put it into action as you said to have the variety in the tries will please them the most have good set piece dominance be able to mix it and match it and just wear Italy down because then you know Italy are left wondering like and Italy are a team that over the last few years we've seen it like in the RDS like back against 2024 that they'll stay in it till the death if you let them and if you give them a sniff to think that you have you know a crack in the armor they'll keep picking at it and they'll try kicks over the top they'll try dinking it
And we did see they got a bit of change off that.
That'll be one work on for Ireland.
We'll probably chat about a little bit later of the kick return.
But Ireland are well aware now of the threats that Italy have and where we put ourselves on a level above them.
And to be able to really, I think for Ireland, it's so important, as you said, to have those confidence in the performances, but you're only as good as your last game.
So to be able to kind of double down on the win in Parma last year,
with doing the same to Italy again this year, it's no easy feat.
And I said, Italy, you have a hell of a lot of experience right throughout their team, but they just made them look very ordinary.
