And it was very odd.

And I felt really guilty and ashamed about it.

And I was seeing this incredible counselor at the time.

And I went to see her and I said, you know, I just don't understand where all this is coming from.

And she was so good because she allowed me to say everything without any judgment coming back from her.

So it felt like a really safe space.

And she just said, but who wouldn't want to feel something other than what you're feeling?

It's human.

Exactly.

And so she kind of made it feel like what I was feeling wasn't so horrendously wrong.

And it took me a while, but I did... I mean, it was a whole brave new world.

When Matt and I got together, there were no dating apps.

So suddenly there's this whole new world to navigate.

And I do write in the memoir a couple of experiences I had.

And...

They taught me, basically, that what I was looking for at that point wasn't intimacy with just anyone.

I was really craving intimacy with Matt and, you know, I was just missing him saying my name.

You know, hearing my name in his voice, you know, hearing Han, the way he said it, was what I was longing for more than anything.

But...

I think it's a natural response.
