So, I mean, that's basically kind of the end of the saga.
But the FBI part was interesting because I just recently actually spoke with someone at the FBI, not about this, about something else.
And then I was looking at this case and I was like, wow, 2008 was such a different time.
I was calling the FBI to get more information about reporting scams to them, like what the best avenue is to go about.
Not for me to report, but because you and I have been working on this story for like a couple of years now where we're following a... Serial scammer.
Yes, serial scammer.
And we've interviewed a bunch of his victims at this point.
And there are many.
And there are many.
Keep an ear out for that podcast, that story that will be on the knife in the future.
But basically, I was just trying to gather information on behalf of the victim.
Some of them have asked us, like, well, how would I report this to the FBI?
So I was just trying to gather information.
Like, what is the best way?
And the person I spoke to, she was really nice.
But I have to say that she seemed overwhelmed.
Like when I started talking about reporting a scam, she kind of was like, well, you would not believe how many reports we get all the time.
And she was just like, you know, we're doing the best we can.
You should definitely tell people to report always.
But it was just like, she was just being honest that the amount of scam, both internet scams and in-person scams, particularly online scams that get reported to the FBI on like a monthly basis is more than they could possibly attack with the resources that they have.
