Putting the Austrian issue to one side for a moment, you have got your teeth into poor old tiny neutral Ireland and you have suggested that unless
Ireland joins NATO, it's currently outside of NATO, it's never been in, and unless Ireland joins NATO it needs to be expelled from the European Union.
That's a very provocative thesis and you've listed I think seven points here on precisely what your opposition is, but tell me why Ireland?

What is your, in your own words, you seem to be suggesting that not being a member of NATO, but implicitly staying under the umbrella of the surrounding nations who are members, that NATO, presumably by extension Switzerland as well, you could make that argument, Austria perhaps as well you'd make that argument, I'm sure, they're somewhat freeloading
of the other European nations that are paying members of NATO.
Well, well, first of all, you talk about the freeloading aspect.
But of course, the War Room's audience is mostly American.
It is an international audience, but it is also mostly lion's share of our audience is American.
They'll be listening to you talk, Gunther, and they'll be thinking, well, hang on a minute.
It's us.
It's us American taxpayers that's subsidizing all of European defense, NATO and otherwise, you know.
So isn't that also the case?
that we Europeans here in continental Europe are freeloading off the back of American taxpayers, whether we're in NATO or not, whether we're contributing.
I think, you see, you're one of the few people that will actually engage with me on the whole of the NATO issue here.
What you just said about Poland is exactly the point.
It is good and necessary that they're spending so much on their national defence, 5% of their GDP, because they are living next door to Russia.
