So Ryan was there.

John Stockton was there.

We were all up there balling.

And we were all right around the same age and everything else.

So yeah, that was the first time I met Ryan.

But Ryan Sandberg, man, he was the number one ranked quarterback in the country.

And he was going to Washington State when he got drafted by the Phillies out of high school.

Then he got traded to the Cubs, and that became his thing.

But one of the nicest people.

I think he changed the sport because he was a 6'4 second baseman.

We played them in spring training in Arizona, and all of Chicago would come out of the snow.

And it was just packed.

It was like, and then they had Harry Carey.

You know, I was more excited to see Harry Carey than I was the players.

I went up, got a picture with him.
