People don't know what a kilometer is, 0.7 miles.

So you run a total of five miles and then do eight stations.
Station one is a ski erg.
Station two is you pull a sled.
Station three is you push a sled.
Station four is burpee jump.
Station five is rowing.
Station six is farmer's carry.
Station seven is weighted lunges.
And station eight is 100 wall balls.
Yeah.
And if you mess up on anything, they have penalties.
So if on the sled pull, you go past the line and pulling, it's a penalty and so on and so forth.
So there were a couple stations where racers really could blow themselves up.
The first one being the first station, which is the SkiErg.
And the whole goal is you don't want to shock your heart.
So you want to pace yourself and you don't want to spike your heart rate.
And the SkiErg has the potential to do that.
So I was like, all right, out of the gates, go super, super, super slow on the SkiErg.
