It was a very interesting read.
Um, any other thoughts on the story up to this point before we jump into uh the fact that all of a sudden it shifts over to Africa, which I found to be a really interesting shift.
And any any thoughts on why Howard sets the final confrontation, the back half of the story, in this kind of like primal Africa?
I say it was something that really caught my attention and we when we get there we can discuss it of like the the do the two fights that we have at the end and the images that we're presenting are presented are very intentional on Howard's part.
And that too did remind me a lot
of Conan, of all of a sudden we're just here we are now in this very primitive primal environment and what is our hero going to do in it.
But any kind of thoughts about shifting the story to Africa or maybe how Howard uses kind of the the primitive in his stories overall?

Yeah, and w what's interesting is that the story on the African side, um, you know, of course they come in and and Wolf has uh you know, somewhat to a certain degree taken over the tribe or affected its leadership and you know, Cain is kidnapped the uh the l the local witch doctor, what is his name?

Yeah, so he's, you know, he wants to help Kane.
And I thought it was really interesting that then we get a lot of comparisons.
Uh we have our Puritan hero, who now is faced with black magic, with the black god, with the voodoo.
And that creates a juxtaposition, but it also creates a certain tension uh because it's actually being used to his benefit.
And I think you see a little bit of that struggle in Solomon Kane.
