I'm not sure how he should be the spokesperson for new F1 fans and what they think of the sport.
He also just comes from such a different and singular background to so many people.
Also, he always watches it from the garage.
He's not sitting in the stands.
It's interesting that he said this right before he then won a race, but...
I think he's acknowledged that F1 has started to listen to the drivers a bit more this year.
But it's a tricky one because I think he is coming from a place of these regulations aren't the best, aren't the most fun.
And for the driver, he's coming from a driver point of view, they're not the greatest for them to drive.
And whilst I know people will say, oh, they're paying millions to do it, just get on with it.
It's their job, boo-hoo, cry me a river.
I do understand because the F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport, or advertises itself as the pinnacle of motorsport.
And whilst the drivers should just get on with it, I agree to that to a degree.
If you've got 22 drivers on the grid that are all disinterested and demotivated by having to go and drive these cars, you're going to have...
a lesser sport overall.
You know, we're only half a year in, but if this carried on for a few years, you might end up losing drivers.
Max Verstappen being very vocal about the fact he doesn't like these regulations.
