And he would be comforting me.
but he stole it you know and he's like it's okay we'll find out who did it you know and i'm like and i just think like it was someone who was really close to me you know and i just think that sort of definitely has played some roles into you know my belief around money and trust issues man fuck heck it fucked me up in the boxing world as well because there's just a lot of gangsters and mobsters and just you know dodgy oh maybe not gangsters and mobsters in australia but just like
You're a cash cow and you know that someone's profiting off who you are when I've worked fucking hard to get to where I am.
And I find that really hard to relinquish control on the fact that I've built this for 15, 20 years and someone's just coming along now and taking 20%.
You're like, fuck.
But it's also like you need to relinquish control, which is a hard thing.
But also just understanding that they sort out your life and make it less stressful.
And then I've become a lot better of that over the last years.
But at the start, I fucking hated it.
I was like tightening.
I was like, no, no, no.
like you know i just didn't like the concept of i don't really know who this person is and they're coming in and then you got to give them 20 you don't know yeah yeah yeah that wouldn't sit with me insane but like it's part of the business right it's insane it's insane yeah and a lot of boxes are uneducated
yeah did you have so so you had trust issues from what happened with your brother when you're younger and then went into the boxing world yeah yeah yeah yeah but it's just yeah one of those things how'd you unpack that um i think it comes from i've done a lot of like self-exploration um through psychologists through breath work through so many different things also just being deeply curious and like always asking like
Like, you know, it's a fascinating thought.
So from the knowledge that I have, our subconscious is formed, like 80% of our subconscious is formed before we're seven.
It's fucking insane, right?
And then we make most of our decisions as adults from our subconscious.
And we don't really know what programmed us because we don't remember.
You probably remember little moments, but you don't remember massive moments from your childhood.
It makes sense, right?
