But when I really turned on, you know, that blue naked flame that was there, that was when I'd be playing and I'd love it.

That flame came back to me when I coached.

And I just went, oh, my God.

Like there's more to this than just playing.

And now, like I said, I speak about it now.

The fact that I can coach and give all my knowledge and all my experience, the great and the – well, the good and the bad, or the great and the ugly, I can give it.

And I feel my career now that I can understand because no player in history wants to be injured.

No player – every single player wants to go out there and play 90 minutes at his hardest.

And there's a kind of –

thing around football that if you're not fit you know coaches don't want to know or managers don't want because they've got to concentrate I get that on the fit players but you can still speak to them and I had moments where no one would speak to me you know for months because I was injured you know and that hurt that hurt whereas now I can take that information and you know I had a young boy especially in Hanoi done his ACL and

And I make sure every single day I see him and I ask him, even if it's just a – and the communication is not 100%.

He speaks a little English.

I don't speak Novantmanese.

But it's still – I still make an effort to go over and hug him or see how he is, talk about it like that.

And it just brings a smile to his face.

And because that's what, like, I missed at times.

And I think that's the important thing.

And that's why I think my whole circle of life, especially in football, has put me into a position where I'm happy at the moment and I love what I do.

Is to be yourself.

Don't try and replicate anybody else because you're not going to be them.
