I played the under-17s World Cup.

And then I went over and signed for Leeds.

You know what?

If our parents didn't stop us, we would have got on there anyway.

Because nothing was going to actually stop us from going over there and competing because we were young and hungry.

So what happened to Brett?

Well, Brett had the opportunity as well, but Brett just wanted to continue playing football in Australia, just for that little bit longer, and he didn't have a British passport.

So he had to play there, and then eventually he went on and had a fantastic career, and then eventually he got into England.

Absolutely loved it.

I mean, I'm not going to lie.

I spent eight years there.

It was young.

No, I mean, I spent eight years there.

I grew up with some fantastic people and a lot of people that actually went on and made great careers at themselves in football as well.

I mean, I met my wife there.

I started my family there.

I had some fantastic times there and I still got some wonderful friends there.

And like I said, to see what's happened to Leeds, I mean, I just cannot wait to see them back in the Premier League.

I cannot wait.
