I'm literally reliving the beginning of my Sevens experience.

I played in Kinsale back in 2011 and 12 with the Munster Academy sides, so I'm fully going...

living my early days rugby career and having a full circle moment right now.

So if I'm having that, then hopefully that can be the beginning for guys as well.

I've said it many times in my career.

My first ever cap was in Bosnia and that if Ireland Sevens ever fell off planet Earth and ended up having to go back into that role, that something went very wrong.

And unfortunately, we kind of

put that into fruition nearly so for me I'm really happy that like someone has seen that there's a gap but they've gone do you know what I really see I really see how powerful sevens can be I really see how amazing it is for Ireland for rugby players and the opportunities it brings and they just said look I want to be a part of that we've seen what sevens rugby has been able to do for 15s rugby in Ireland you know and

Josh Kenny, Zach Ward are the two hot names currently.

You know, we've had Jimmy O'Brien.

We've had Hugo Keenan.

We've got loads of other players that I can start rattling off.

And it's easy forgotten how many players came into the Sevens program, even if it was for a short period of time, and then went on to make a career for themselves in the 15s game.

So it's going to be hard to determine whether it's going to have an effect going forward.

But...

You never know, there could be players here that play and then they get seen from one of the tournaments and then they get an opportunity in an A game or in an academy setup for a little bit.

You never know what might happen for these players and where it might take them.

For me especially, it's that opportunity for other guys to be able to learn, develop, have fun and learn all about Sevens.
