And they attacked it over and over again.

And they took advantage of the gridlock that they were creating where the Democrats could have just advanced it.

They could have.

They had the numbers.

They could have advanced.

They could have been like, fuck off, right?

But they allowed this gridlock to take place where Republicans used that time on the clock where they were running out the clock

which gridlock is something that most Americans hate.

Donald Trump doesn't ever do that.

He just goes, no, we're doing this and I'm going to do an executive order if necessary.

Yeah.

So obviously there was a reluctance to break things with this rapid successive attacks against the Republicans.

They didn't do that.

But in that process, the Republicans had an opportunity to lie about it.
