So that's why I think it's very foolish for people to start thinking that crypto wins when AI fails.

It's the opposite.

I think this is overrated.

No, I don't think this is true.

So if you listen to Dario, the CEO of Anthropic, what he says is that, this was just a few years ago when Anthropic was first growing as a business.

He said that we actually don't try to hire machine learning PhDs.

We just try to hire smart people because machine learning PhDs, most of them were learning machine learning in a time before LLMs.

And all of that stuff is mostly useless today because it's just not the way that machines learn anymore.

Machines don't learn the way they did 10 years ago.

So some guy who got a machine learning PhD 10 years ago, they don't know a damn thing about LLMs.

They don't know about transformers.

Transformers were invented 10 years ago.

So is it really possible that somebody who got a machine learning PhD 10 years ago happened to study transformers?

We didn't know that transformers were going to control everything in the future 10 years ago.

So now if you get a Stanford PhD today, then okay, you're learning about LLMs for sure.

But so much is yet to be written.

And so much of like everybody, you know, go talk to all these people who are working in the field.

They're drinking from a fire hose every day.

I remember what that was like.

If you were in crypto back in the day that I was there or like in DeFi summer or like when all this stuff was changing in real time, it's the same feeling.
