And just that change in mentality makes people suddenly feel much better.

And I think this is a large part of the reason why we should not expect that just because we're going to have much more material wealth, just because we're going to have a lot less of these kind of knowledge work type jobs to go around, right?

that people are going to spend all their time playing video games.

I mean, some people obviously will, but the more likely thing is that we are going to find alternative ways of valuing each other and showing each other that we're valuable.

We're going to still feel the need to be needed.

And that is going to express itself in other ways.

So I suspect there will be a lot more jobs that we will look now at

And say, that's really weird that, you know, today, if I told you that there are going to be a lot more professional chess players in the future compared to today, that's like, what?

Why are there professional chess players in the future?

But I predict there probably will be.

I think the reason why is that people will have higher demand for other high-performance humans.

They will find it entertaining.

And watching AIs play chess, I mean, AIs could already beat the best humans at chess 20 years ago.

So why are there any humans playing chess?

The answer is because we like to watch them.

That's why there are humans playing chess.
