Why not AI fund?

Well, there's a lot of AI funds.

So there's people already doing that.

They don't need me to do that.

The reason why we are raising a crypto fund, why we raised a crypto fund, is because we believe in crypto.

We believe crypto is going to be enormous.

It's going to be one of the biggest technology trends of our lifetimes.

I wrote this post a while back called In Defense of Exponentials, where I compare the rise of smart contract platforms to the rise of e-commerce in the 90s.

And e-commerce, my partner, Bo, who is one of the founders of Dragonfly, he often describes what it was like in the early days of e-commerce.

when they'd sit around a table arguing about who is e-commerce going to be used for?

Is it going to be only women who use e-commerce because they like to do all the shopping?

Maybe e-commerce is only going to be for women.

Maybe e-commerce is only going to be used for books and durable goods, but it's never going to be for food.

It's never going to be for perishables.

They had all these different ideas about who's going to use e-commerce.

And the right answer was e-commerce is going to be used for everything.

The right answer was everything.

There is no market for e-commerce.

The market for e-commerce is everything.

So in the same way, I think this is going to be true for crypto.
