It's true.
I mean, look, there is no story that's going to result in people making easy overnight money.
Anything that results in easy overnight money, if it's quickly won, it's quickly lost.
Same thing happened in the dot-com bubble.
People thought like, oh my God, the internet's going to change everything.
Great, I should buy every single stock and lever up and take a mortgage on my house and go buy tech stocks.
And they got killed.
Everybody who did that ultimately got punished.
But in the long run, if you held those companies...
Every single one of them was a huge returner, even relative to the high of the dot-com bubble.
So the same thing I think is true in crypto is that, look, if you bought Bitcoin at 120 and you're down to 70, you're like, man, fuck this crypto stuff.
Total scam.
This space is full of lies.
Nothing ever really happens in this space.
And yet, if you hold that for 10 years, I'm going to guess that you are going to make a lot of money.
Yeah, I mean, they should be.
For everything besides Bitcoin, there's still a lot of game to be played.
I think the best smart contract platform is going to be worth a lot more in 10 years.
But is it going to be Ethereum?
