And I always think that it's quite difficult to express in fiction a relationship that has been going on for decades with all its layers of

shared experience and jokes and codes and memories and sex and arguments and all the rest of it.

And you've portrayed that very well between Jack and Kate.

No.

I suppose the... I mean, I think of long unhappy marriages, perhaps, in fiction.
