There are certain things that you might not want them to hear.

Yeah.

But otherwise, no, I think there's that really sort of strict understanding of, you know, needs and wants.

And we've already catered for all the needs that we need to.

So the money that's left over, we're making decisions.

Some of it is frivolous spending, right?

And we all have it.

Some of it's savings, short, long term.

I think those are fairly normal in front of a child.

But yeah, as I say, you've got to be, I think it really comes down to the understanding of money at that point.

As you've said, yours are younger, might be a bit early.

I don't think I'd share the income side of it.

I think the lesson for them in this is how much does life cost?

And so some really practical examples of, you know, these are the types of costs that are associated with being in a home like this, or these are the types of costs we have.

Children, you know, school costs or clothing or all those things that we need.

I think working through them with their tax is vital.

I think as they get older as well, really maybe go through their KiwiSaver statement with them as well.

Get them to understand what's happened in the market over time.

Helping them with even things like grocery shopping where they get to choose a meal and they've got to work out how to budget if they know they're only allowed, I don't know, whatever the number is for a meal.

They've got to work that out.
