I'll give you a little bit more information, just a bit more detail on that proposed tariff from Trump next, 6-22.
Okay, so here's a bit of more detail on this tariff.
So it comes after a probe was announced in March, which came pretty hot on the heels of the February ruling that the tariffs had to go.
Some countries are being tariffed at 10% because they apparently are making an effort when it comes to the forced labour.
So that's Canada, the EU, Britain, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Cambodia, El Salvador, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
45 remaining countries, which include China and India and ourselves, are apparently not making enough effort to tackle the forced labour, so we're going to face 12.5% duties immediately.
The relevance of telling you that the probe was launched in March is that it's possible our government has seen this coming.
