At risk of boring you witless with my obsession with a Zempik, do you want to hear another cool thing that the weight loss drug apparently does?
Apparently, it will prevent thousands of knee replacements a year.
Now, it's for exactly the reason that you think it is, which is if you're gigantic, that is a lot of weight to be putting on your knees.
And so, of course, then you've got this weight on the joints, you've got arthritis as a result of it.
Researchers have had a look at this.
They reckon that if you take that jab for three years straight, it is associated with a nearly 5% point lower chance of needing the knee replacement when they come back and look at you after eight years, nine away from seven.
