Actually, speaking of Wellington, prices in Lower Hutt are down 27.3% from the peak, which is the biggest drop in the country.
There were some bright-ish spots though with regional New Zealand picking up the slack.
Christchurch prices are up 0.4%.
Dunedin, Queenstown, Tauranga all up 0.2%.
The biggest increases month on month were Whanganui up 0.8% and Rotorua up 0.6%.
If you were impressed with my pronunciation of Whanganui just then, it even surprised me at how good that was.
I made an effort that surprised myself to an extent.

So somebody at NZC forgot about the election and they decided to book the second Black Caps India ODI for 7th of November, which is the election.
That's been etched in my brain since it was announced.
I was like, 7th of November.
I wake up in the middle of the night, 7th of November.
They don't have that at NZC.
Traditionally, we clear out the sporting calendar for that day, dedicate the day to the hallowed thing that it is, the election.
because the problem is we know what choice people are going to make now.
They're going to go, oh, cricket, election, oh, cricket, cricket, cricket, cricket.
Fortunately, the thing only kicks off at three in the afternoon, so there's heaps of time for people to do the election.
