I do believe dyslexia is an asset because
People with dyslexia have brains that are structured a little bit differently, and that structuring is really amazing.
So let's say a student is writing a three in reverse.
What that really means is that the student is capable of in their mind being able to flip and rotate shapes.
Now that's amazing.
That's a really important.
skill for engineering, for architecture, for design, for you know, painting.
And it's something that we take as a negative, but really it is a positive when you look at that capability.

Yes, I love the work that you're doing in the world because I think we're seeing more children that are differently wired.
And so I love that you have that term and that you're bringing that focus more into the light because that's really what we need is for people to understand other people who are differently wired.
So and dyslexia definitely falls under that category.
So I'm happy to do that.
Sure.
So when I was a kid, I had an uncle, Uncle Alan, who had Down syndrome.
And I remember being really young and sitting at my parents' kitchen counter.
teaching him how to read.
And it's one of those memories just that sticks with me.
And I just kept trying different things, different strategies.
