There's so many of them.
Instead of booking with, I don't know, BA or Ryanair or Emirates directly.
So people kind of...
book with them because they think they're saving a bit of money um but then by the time you go through you know they'll charge you more for your bags and your board printing out your boarding pass and they add all these extra costs on and then the key thing is it makes life so much more difficult if something goes wrong and you need to get a refund so as with many many areas of money it's the person that you pay your money to which is the company that needs to help you if something goes wrong so in this case it's very much a podo who are responsible for refunding um
this couple for their flights.
But what Apodo did when they contacted them is just say, no, I've got to speak to Emirates.
They're the ones in control of when the flights are cancelled.
So I think you should call them.
They obviously go to Emirates and they say, no, no, it's not.
Your contracts with Apodo go back to them.
But they do this so many times that the couple basically decides they just don't want to fly anymore and they just want their money back.
But these operators, they always just send you on such a sort of,
Merry dance.
Phone ping pong.
Yeah, merry dance to get your money back.
So in the end, I got involved.
Cordopodo and they did very quickly agree to pay them back.
And, you know, this was quite a lot of money.
It was almost ยฃ2,700.
