And it just really irritates me that, you know, these companies are happily happy to take people's money.
But when something goes wrong and, you know, obviously all these travel companies are so sort of busy at the moment.
But, you know,
you know, all you need to do is what they'll say is, oh, we haven't had our money back from Emirates yet.
So we can't pay you back until Emirates pays us back.
And it's like, no, like you are massive companies.
Just pay people back.
Like they've made their sort of contract with you.
Just pay people their money back.
So I personally, I never book through these agents.
I tell my friends not to book through them.
You might pay a little bit more if you book direct.
But if something goes wrong, you'll be so glad that you did.
So in terms of Pakistan, where these people were traveling, still recommending that you don't travel to many areas.
If you have got holiday booked, especially to anywhere in the Middle East or anywhere that's affected by this stuff, go on to the Foreign Office website because they'll tell you exactly where and where isn't recommended for travel.
There's sort of different levels of threat, I suppose.
But
It's important to know, especially for things like claiming on travel insurance, you know, a lot of people can't claim on travel insurance at the minute because most policies will rule out acts of war.
But it's good to know where you stand because sometimes you can get money back if there's a kind of warning out on the country you're going to saying definitely do not travel here anymore.
With airlines as well, if there's a warning out from your country saying absolutely do not go to this country, it sort of gives you more sway with persuading an airline to pay you back for a flight if you need to.
