From the first episode, I thought it was going to be that, like, love actually aiming for laughs, the heart wants what it wants, which I think is absolute nonsense.
But in episode two, this drama becomes so much more.
Even as you're cringing for the character's decisions...
hers particularly Alice's you kind of find yourself nodding in sympathy with the impulses and so many great so complicated and grown up and also grown up friendships which you don't see that often on television Alice and Steve on Disney Plus now and all six episodes are there aren't they so that sounds like a great one
It is, yeah, like his name's in the title, so they're clearly, they want us to know a lot of things going into it.
adaptation deal with Netflix and this is number 13 of it.
They're fast-paced, lots of twists and turns.
The premise here is that a father serving life for the murder of his son receives evidence the child may be alive and breaks out of prison, as you do, to uncover the truth.
So you get all the usual trademark Coburn things.
You know, one of his main tropes is the idea that people you know aren't telling you everything about themselves and they're always withholding something significant.
And that's what comes to light in the plot.
You know, twists, turns, high stakes drama.
