I know another guy who I think he would appreciate me not saying his name now, but he's a very, very plugged-in sports lawyer who went on to become a team executive.

And at one point, I was like, what's the deal with these, like, it's just so hard to get a stadium built.

And they go to all these meetings, blah, blah, blah.

And I was like, it's so much work.

And he was like, well, like, you know, privately, like, you can get really rich doing this.

So explain how.

That's what I said.

And, you know, we're in some little cafe in some airport or whatever, and he's basically like, well, you know, there's some tax advantages that are underappreciated, and there's like, you know, being involved in the real estate component and blah, blah, blah.

And I was like, you know, and I don't really understand it, but I'll tell you, that guy now did lead a stadium project in a major American city, and he's f***ing rich now.

And like, so I just will accept that that's part of it.

I don't know what's happening here.

I'm learning from listening to your show, right?

But the question that occurs to me while listening was, if you were Steve Ballmer, and if you had a handshake deal with Kawhi and Uncle Dennis to pay them more than the salary cap would allow, and if Aspiration went out of business so that mechanism was closed,

He's feeling owed, presumably, all the money that was supposed to come to him from the now out-of-business aspiration.

And he takes less than he could, right?

Somebody, you know, board man gets paid, right?

Yeah, yeah.

And so now just like hypothetical, I mean, if I go to some high-end lawyer and say, hey, you know, I'm very wealthy.

Is there any way I can funnel some money untraceably into this real estate project in Rhode Island?
