It's like there were definitely times along the last sort of eight or nine years doing stand-up and doing radio where it's like, man, if this...

if this works out, it's cool, but right now I'm the guy who can't, you know, transfer for a dinner that I went to with all of my uni mates because I haven't been paid by a comedy club yet.

Like that sort of stuff.

So it's like there's a certain element of embarrassment along the way, I think, for anyone in the arts.

because you are making that assessment.

You're like, sure, it sounds romantic in hindsight to say, I turned away from the corporate world and pursued my dream.

But it's like, yeah, it's definitely not romantic along the way a lot of the time.

And absolutely, there are moments where I'm like,

shit i'm it it would be nice to go on that holiday why didn't i why didn't i do like that salary starting to look pretty nice so um but yeah to to return to it there are weeks like this where it's like oh cool i'm i'm glad i i'm glad i back myself and it can all it can all turn at any moment it can all you know we all have our little 15 minutes our little blips of relevance and then then you've got to come up with something else and keep going but that's the
