Well, here standing in front of the famous Lords Pavilion.
This is a very special day for four sides of under 15 cricketers who have made it through to the inaugural finals day of the Night Stokes Cup.
T20 cricket played exclusively by state schools.
1100 different teams entered this competition when it all kicked off way back in April.
We're on to the finals day.
And uh sides representing areas Yorkshire, Cheshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, so right around the country, uh in action in men's and women's tournaments.
It's uh been a really special day.
Good numbers have come in, friends and family and school children invited by the MCC.
And uh and certainly, no question about it, it is the sort of day that does remind you of the talent that is out there.
If given the opportunity to play.
I've been speaking to Michael Vaughan, former England captain, who is one of the key figures.
Why does this matter to you personally?
Well somebody with a very special interest in the women's final is a former England all-rounder, Catherine Siverbrunt.
She uh she went to one of the schools involved in today's final, Penniston Grammar, and uh I've chatted to her about exactly what it all means.
Playing at Lords it's a really special thing and actually th the opportunity for these players to to get through to finals there and do that, that's massive.
And is it too difficult, do you think, for state educated children to get the opportunity?
In the future the hope is this tournament will grow and grow and we'll see more state educated children not just playing in competitions like this but but more established tournaments and and professional cricket.
