Welcome to the Test Match special podcast from Edgebeston as the group stage of the 100 draws to a close.

32 match days, 64 games in just over three weeks.

But how much has it all changed?

The influx of investment, new team names, new kits, new rules.

There was much anticipation as to how this year's tournament would differ from the first five.

Five years.

To go over it all from what we've seen thus far, I'm alongside uh Ashes winning fast bowler Stephen Finn and Hundred Winner with the Southern Brave Jake Lintot.

First of all, uh Jake, have you enjoyed what we've seen so far in the main?

Jake, how do you think the tournament has changed?

I mean, obviously there there's visual things like team names and kits and everything else, but do you feel that it's it's been a different competition this year?

Yeah, I I think it was inevitably going to be a year that saw a little bit of a shift in terms of dynamics and and how it all felt.

But in some ways it's it's not felt quite as different as I thought that it might.

And yeah, there was a little bit of a uh adjustment period in terms of the team names and everything else, but it is still felt ostensibly like the same competition 'cause

Well, one big change, Finney, is the overseas players.
