You think none of us were getting on.
You just don't speak.
They like the quiet of the island.
That's what you want.
The giddiness will be down here now with the baby calves.
Yeah, you can see, yeah.
I'm almost through calving season, I have three to go.
When they're calving, they'll go off, they'll disappear for a week.
And they'll hide in the bushes here and I'll not get them back.
And then a few days later, she'll arrive back with the calf.
The majority of cattle that I have here now then are all drimen.
And of course, they're the oldest Irish breed we have, drimfion, meaning the white back.
They were the closest described animal that was here at the time of Queen Maeve.
Martin, any type of fireman, there's challenges in every type, but I suppose having to load your boat with hay, go down and launch it, push it out, head out into the weather.
I'd be home from school, shall we say, about four o'clock, half four.
It could be five o'clock by the time I'm actually loaded up and gone.
So I'm going to be going across in the dark and I'm also going to be coming home in the black dark.
That in itself is not for everybody, but it's for me.
