You know, I think that there's no question.
I've been traveling across the state of Michigan talking to voters.
Folks were frustrated with their choices that they had at the top of the ticket.
And so to get a breath of fresh air and an opportunity to literally investigate and march forward.
And I'm talking about Democrats, obviously, to march forward with a candidate that brings new life, new energy to this election.
I think it's very important.
And so I don't think that the data is wrong at all.
So, you know, I met Kamala Harris in 2000, late 2007, when Barack Obama asked both of us to go down to Iowa and stump for him and for the Iowa caucus.
You know, he felt at the time that he couldn't win the primary election against the then established candidate, which was Trump.
Hillary Clinton, unless he could win Iowa.
And so he he marshaled all the resources, all his relationships.
And I was born in Iowa and so had a lot of relationships down there.
And so, you know, she asked me to to contribute to her her book eventually became friends, asked me to contribute to her book, which I did.
And then I hosted her first Southern California fundraiser.
I was shooting a show called CSI New York at the time down in Southern California and and hosted her first for when she ran for attorney general.
And at that point, you know, it's up it's up on my social media is 15 years ago.
I said, you know, this you're looking at a future president, United States.
And I really believe that she can win this.
I believe that she has the experience that's necessary.
I do believe that there's some challenges that she needs to overcome and an opportunity.
