And this is why there's a huge opportunity here, I think, for the Harris campaign.
What does that look like?
If you looked at what happened with the uncommitted movement,
And a massive and for those of you may not know, one of the largest populations of Arab and Muslim folks in the world is here in Michigan and outside of the Middle East.
And there was a movement afoot around the presidential primary that happened in February called Uncommitted, where they actually ultimately won two delegates because it was a big turnout.
And that was that was, you know,
a movement that was extremely critical of the Biden administration's treatment of Gaza and not willing to push and call for a ceasefire and willing to allow a policy that they think was very anti-Palestinian.
And so this is an opportunity for candidate Harris and the Harris campaign to not inherit that.
Organically doing nothing, that will be inherited.
But actually taking the reins, doing, you know, I think it was a great step not attending the Netanyahu speech and presiding over that.
That was that sends a great message to that community.
And so I think that we're going to be able to work together and turn out large numbers of African-American folks because the excitement I've become the first black senator in the history of the state of Michigan, which would be making massive history.
It's a huge deal.
And also, I have a lot of support from the Arab and Muslim community.
All of the leaders basically in that community, for the most part, have endorsed me.
The largest organizations like MGAGE and APAC, the Arab American Political Action Committee, and AMPAC, the American Muslim Political Action Committee.
And the difference maker is going to be these communities.
It's going to be young people turnout.
You know, there's a massive number of young people here in Michigan that are very engaged in these issues, right?
And if you're right on the issues of the environment, right on the issues around the Middle East and Gaza, you know, if you're there...
