So I think I was given the best opportunity to have a great life.

When I did find out I was adopted, there was no real sort of urge to find out anything more.

I'd done this left turn onto Mainwood Road hundreds of times.

The nearer we got, I kept saying, I drive a bus down this route.

Oh my God, I drive a bus along this road.

And then we got to mum's house and I said, I drive a bus past this house.

I stood back a bit because I really wanted to see my mum and Dave together because it was just something she'd wanted so much and she just couldn't believe it.

It was a surreal moment.

And then we just all hugged, you know.

I couldn't believe that I'd got my brother and my mum together.

It was amazing.

She made a promise to her mum when she was six that she'd find me.

And I remember our mum looking over my shoulder as she was hugging me through the tears, saying, you kept your promise.

Sorry.

So, yeah, it was a really good time.

Certain bars of chocolate.

We eat the same way.

I've always thought it's not what you have in your life, it's who you have in your life.

Somebody or something give me the thumbs up that day.

We can't get those years back, but what I enjoy is making every day count with you now.
