I mean, there's no question if you've lost your dad, Father's Day is going to hit you incredibly hard.
If you're estranged from any parent, it's going to hit you hard.
If you're estranged from your children, it's going to hit you hard.
But the fact that the world is complicated and there are lots of different experiences within it,
It shouldn't mean that you can't celebrate anything.
But also we don't make as much fuss about Father's Day.

In my bloody house, Father's Day is a big deal.

I always remember at the preschool my kids went to, there would always be you donate gifts for the raffle for Mother's Day overflowing baskets.
Father's Day, maybe a couple of bottles of red like that.
I think that Father's Day isn't such a big deal, which is, you know, has its own issues.
But I think that Mother's Day getting bigger and bigger and bigger, apparently Australians will spend a billion dollars on Mother's Day this year.
A billion dollars.
And in 20 years, so since 2006, that's gone up from, I think the stats were something like now people, then people were spending an average of $45 on a present or flowers or...
brunch or whatever.
