You could be feeling a little bit cranky.
You could just notice shifts in your body and your energy, how you're sleeping.
Any of those, like, you know, there's this big laundry list of symptoms, right?
Can't sleep, feel like you've got weight gain, low libido, everything feels dry, brain fog all of a sudden.
But if I were, if I got to remake the rules, I would say, I wish it was a baseline like we have for women to get a mammogram or somebody to get a colonoscopy.
to say, okay, 38 years old, let's go ahead and look at everything.
How are you doing?
Have you heard of perimenopause?
Do you have any of these symptoms?
If you do, let's start talking about some of those changes.
The average age for perimenopause in the US is 51 years old.
And if you think
that perimenopause, that shift could be anywhere from four to 10 years.
It's very possible at 41 years old, you could start menopause and some people started earlier.
So I think that it's really, really important to be able to know those things and pay attention so you don't go,
oh, I don't feel like myself anymore.
Or is there something wrong with me?
Or playing whack-a-mole with all these symptoms.
So you're at one doctor and another doctor.
And all of a sudden you went from having a baby to going like, what happened to me?
