Asked what he likes about Xavier Worthy.

Preparation?

Did he seem like a guy who would get lost in preparation?

Maybe not in the past, but when you've got a guy who comes in as your position coach and he commands the room and you know that, like, hey, the last guy's gone because we didn't get it done.

I mean, I think this is not a new head coach, but I think there's a reason why a lot of first-time head coaches have their best season the first year.

Everybody's on their best behavior.

Everybody knows, like, listen, they're not firing him now.

I might get cut.

A couple years down, you're like, dude, it's your ass.

You're going to be fired.

What am I worried about?

I've got three more years on my deal.

I've got $26 million guaranteed still.

They ain't cutting me.

Right now, there's a new sheriff in town, and ain't anybody been that productive at the wide receiver position.

So I'm sure you're getting the absolute best from each one of these guys, starting with Xavier Worthy, I hope.

If he can tap that potential, that part of it,

I think that alleviates a lot of the issues the Chiefs offense has.

It's definitely a major, not to do this intentionally, X factor for the offense this year.
