And I was just kind of looking around, and I was looking at where people were in their careers and what type of seasons that they're coming off of and how we're looking at them.

And I'm speaking from the vantage point of I think he is coming off one of the most underappreciated, overlooked, very, very, very good individual seasons that I can recall.

And I think it was overshadowed in a great sense by him having...

A burner controversy, like the third or fourth of his career, it seems.

And, like, that is unfortunate.

But when I look at it from these two different perspectives in terms of why he is compelling to me and why I think he is such a meaningful figure, he is someone, I think, who can tilt the title race still.

And I think that Houston can win the championship this year.

I'm not saying that they're the favorites.

I think they could win the championship.

And going in the exact opposite direction, if the vibes are just totally off and Fred Van Fleet comes back and it's just it's like he does not act as the force multiplier, I think he is.

Kevin Durant is a really interesting trade candidate.

I was looking at it from those two dueling lenses.

Whenever people rule out the Houston Rockets as championship contenders, I feel like they look at

what happened when their season ended.

And it's just like, Houston lost to a Lakers team that did not have Luka and barely had Austin Reeves.
