They want all the referees to almost be like, you know, no personality or all interchangeable automaton.

Bill Kennedy fucking just breaks all of that.

He's thrashed it all, and he's so good at it, and he's so much fun.

I don't think the league even has the heart to try to tamp it down.

So if he's hamming it up a little bit, it's just fun.
