You won't achieve everything, but if you don't know where you're going, any path will get you there. You've heard that saying.

My missions, I've had maybe three mission statements in my life. This one has been with me for 30 years. But my goals, I'm always looking at. I always have a one, three, and five-year plan. It's all written down. Do I achieve everything? No, I don't. But what I'm really committed to, I get done.

That's what servant leadership is about. That's why we call it servant leadership. A servant leader's primary responsibility is to, number one, help their people grow as human beings. Number two, help them grow as professional. And number three, help them achieve the goals that they have set for their lives. You do that first before you ask them for anything.
