I think what we have over a lot of the other shows is real authenticity, even in our, you know, I got used to it, but we get killed a lot for,

I wouldn't say being negative, but being constructive.

We don't love everything like a lot of other shows love or won't say anything when it's obvious.

I personally live on social media, so I learned, you know, it was really hard at the beginning when I started.

I've been doing it for 17 years now.

It was really hard at the beginning because we used to travel to show like American Idol.

We used to travel.

We're from the same company.

You know, Fremantle does both of them.

We used to travel to show and go, you know, today we're coming to you from Nashville, you know, and we're going to see all the Nashville talent.

Well, you knew that the 4,000 people sitting behind you in the theater in Nashville were rooting for their talent.

And when I would say, Ooh, that was off key or that just didn't move me.

If I said something like that, I would get booed.

And that was really, really hard at the beginning as somebody who was, you know, made their bread and butter trying to get strangers to like you, you know, that's, that's what I do as a standup comic.

So, so, but then I also learned that there may be 4,000 people behind me booing.

But when we started, there was like,

15 to 20 million people watching on TV.

And then you'd get, you really liked that guy?

He was so out of key.
