Well, normally on a Friday, I try and just punch out a little right-wing podcast.
And I'm busy up until about five or six.
But look, honestly, I was really rattled by that interview that Luke and Amy did with me this week.
And I mean, I have been campaigning for changes to the NDIS for months now.
They needed to happen.
It's turning into a $50 billion deal.
you know, white elephant.
And, you know, that's, by the way, that's, you know, up there on defence budgets.
But mainly it's because of the rorting.
I mean, there are places in Sydney, in particular parts of Sydney, that shall remain unnamed.
But Lakemba is one of those places where you've got store after store of shop front windows with nothing in it.
And the providers are driving around in Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and they're just fleecing the system.
There are people right across Australia who are fleecing the system.
And it's endemic.
Something needed to happen with that.
But we warned at the time that there would be a problem here because hardworking, beautiful Australian families with severely disabled children were going to be disadvantaged if there was any crackdown.
We warned them repeatedly, the government.
And the government, Mark Butler, came out and said, it'll be all right.
